Our Journey

Late Dr. Major S.K. Lal, commenced the business of providing pathology services and maintaining a blood bank in the year 1949 through sole proprietorship M/s Central Clinical Laboratory and M/s Blood Bank Transfusion Centre. The business of diagnostic and related healthcare tests and services now continues to be provided by our Company.

1949 – 2005

1949: Founded by Dr. Major S. K. Lal
1995: Company incorporated as Dr Lal PathLabs Private Ltd.
2000: Dr Lal Path Labs at Hanuman Road, Delhi received NABL Accreditation
2001: Dr Lal Path Labs at Hanuman Road, Delhi received ISO 9001:2000 certification
2002: Dr Lal Path Labs at Hanuman Road, Delhi received International Accreditation from CAP

1949 – 2005
Founded in 1949 by Dr. Major S. K. Lal, Dr Lal PathLabs achieved major milestones in the late 1990s and early 2000s, including NABL accreditation and international CAP accreditation.
2005 – 2010
Dr Lal PathLabs established a National Reference Lab in Delhi, marking a significant achievement in the company’s history.
2010 – 2015
Dr Lal PathLabs expanded into North, East, South, and West regions, culminating in a successful IPO listing in December 2015.
2015 onwards
Dr Lal PathLabs launched the Swasthfit bundled test program and successfully commissioned a Regional Reference Lab in Kolkata in 2018.
